Overview
The Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) provides federal funding for a variety of smaller-scale transportation projects that help to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from on-road highway sources. This can include projects such as traffic monitoring improvements, vehicle electrification efforts, carbon mitigation strategies, public transportation, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and more.

Eligibility
Eligible projects generally include planning, design, and construction projects to mitigate or reduce CO2 emissions from on-road highway sources. This can include projects such as traffic monitoring improvements, vehicle electrification efforts, carbon mitigation strategies, public transportation, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and more.
