Economic Development
Governments in the region are being challenged to take a more active role in economic activities that influence community development due to changes in the economy, industrial technology and world trade. As a result, there is a need for professional assistance in developing, implementing and coordinating programs which preserve and expand existing businesses as well as attract new investments and avoid duplication of services.
Several organizations in the MAPA region work together to address issues with economic development. We work closely with all these groups and others to assure open and appropriate communication, and to make sure everyone has needed information about the variety of economic development activities available.
