MAPA’s Metro Rideshare was a free software program designed to connect people in the Omaha-Council Bluffs region who are interested in carpooling; that service has now transitioned to the Iowa Rideshare program managed by the Iowa DOT. Users are matched based on their origin, destination, and time of travel.
