2050 MTP Amendment 2
BackThe 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) helps guide future infrastructure projects in the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area. Updated every five years, the MTP projects the transportation needs for the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area for the next 25 years and includes a list of projects to meet those future transportation needs.
Amendments are made to the MTP as needed. Please review the Amendment Summary document for amendment details.
MAPA a public comment period will be open from July 24 through August 26, 2026. MAPA’s Board of Directors is scheduled to consider approval of the amendment on August 27, 2026.
