Market Value Analysis

Back

MAPA received a grant award from the Front Porch Investments’ Development and Preservation Fund to develop a regional housing market value analysis. A Market Value Analysis (MVA) is a data-driven tool that can be used to analyze residential real estate markets, understand current housing conditions and support local decision-making.

The Market Value Analysis can be used to assess many factors including housing affordability, home ownership, and housing market changes over time as well as help identify and prioritize development and investment opportunities. Local communities can use the MVA resource to make data-based investment and programmatic decisions.

MAPA’s Market Value Analysis will focus on Douglas, Sarpy, Washington and Cass Counties in Nebraska and Pottawattamie and Mills Counties in Iowa.

The firm CommunityScale has been contracted for this project. MAPA’s regional Market Value Analysis is expected to be completed in Summer 2025.
