FY2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)Back
This TIP is no longer effective. If you wish to look at the most recent program please return to the TIP landing page and select the TIP for the current federal fiscal year (federal fiscal years begin October 1st of the previous calendar year).
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a six-year document that states which transportation projects plan to be constructed. It includes all types of transportation projects (e.g. highway maintenance or expansion, bicycle and pedestrian trail work, Metro Transit projects, and aviation projects) that are funded federally through the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). This document is updated annually.
The TIP includes basic project information such as the anticipated cost estimates, proposed funding sources, and schedule for each phase of federally funded projects. Non-federal projects are shown with less-detailed listings that provide basic project information.
