DRAFT FY2027 RPA-18 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP)
BackRegional Planning Affiliation 18 (RPA-18) is looking for public comments on the Draft FY2027 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP), which outlines transportation-related activities and projects for July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027.
The public comment period runs from March 20 to April 13, 2026. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. April 13, 2026, via email to rpa@mapacog.org or U.S. Mail to MAPA, 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68102.
The May meeting of the RPA-18 Policy & Technical Committee will serve as the public meeting for RPA-18 FY2027 Transportation Planning Work Program. The meeting will take place at 11 a.m. on May 20th, 2026, at the Pottawattamie County Secondary Roads Building at 17501 Eastern Hills Dr., Council Bluffs, IA 50503.
The RPA-18 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP) identifies tasks for the continued transportation planning process work and serves as the basis for funding within the fiscal year. All regional planning affiliations are required by the Iowa DOT to complete an annual TPWP.
Regional Planning Affiliation 18 includes Harrison, Shelby, Mills and the non-urban portion of Pottawattamie County in Iowa, and is led by the RPA-18 Policy Board and Technical Committee, MAPA has been designated to provide transportation and transportation-related planning functions for the RPA.
