Because MAPA receives funding from state and federal agencies, a variety of laws and federal regulations apply to MAPA’s activities. Specific accommodation policies, stating how regulations are implemented, are discussed in the Civil Rights Policy

This document includes MAPA’s Civil Rights Policy Statement as well as the complaint process for both Title VI and ADA.

Updates to the MAPA Civil Rights Policy

MAPA is required to revisit and update the Civil Rights Policy every three years. The draft version of the 2024-2027 Civil Rights Policy Update is now closed for public comment. MAPA staff are now incorporating comments received and drafting the final policy. The 2024-2027 Policy will will be presented to the MAPA Board of directors on January 23rd.
