The Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA)18 Policy and Technical Committees will meet concurrently on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in the Metro Transit Board Room, 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska at 11:00am. The meeting will be held in person and virtually, in accordance with the Iowa Open Meetings Act, at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89506643438. Voting members must be present for this meeting.

  • Minutes Approval
  • Public Participation Plan (PPP) Approval: Staff will present the MAPA Public Participation Plan (PPP) Update, which includes the RPA-18 Jurisdiction for Approval. (Action)
  • FY 2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment: Staff will present new Regional TAP Guidance added to the FY2024 RPA-18 TIP. (Action)
  • FY 2025 RPA-18 Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Call for Projects: Staff will present targets and new guidelines for STBG and Regional TAP funding, and request the committee to open the FY2025 Call for Projects.. (Action)
  • State Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Funding: Staff will discuss the Iowa State Transportation Alternatives Program, and its upcoming call for projects due in November. (Discussion) [Link to State Application]  [Link to State Guidance]
