The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) is accepting public comments on its plan for engaging the public related to its planning activities.

MAPA’s Draft 2023 Public Participation Plan is available for public comment from June 22, 2023 to Aug. 5, 2023.

The public participation plan outlines how the agency will work to achieve public participation and was developed based on the agency’s goals to:

  • Ensure early and continuous public notification about regional planning;
  • Provide meaningful information concerning regional planning; and;
  • Obtain participation and input to regional planning.

Submit written comments by 4:30 p.m. Aug. 5, 2023 via email to: transportation@mapacog.org or via U.S. Mail to MAPA, 2222 Cuming St., Omaha, NE. 68102.
