The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) seeks public comment on an amendment to its FY2025 Transportation Improvement Program, which will add various regional transportation projects and adjust the funding sources for others.
The public comment period runs Oct. 17, 2024, to Oct. 24, 2024.
The projects include:
Funding source changes:
● Metro Transit Electrical Upgrades and Charging Stations project
● City of Omaha Signal Infrastructure Phase Y
Phase adjustment:
● City of Papillion Portal Road/6th St. Improvements Phase 2
Projects added:
● City of Omaha 2026 Major Streets Resurfacing
● City of Bellevue 2025 Major Streets Resurfacing
● City of Omaha Ames Avenue Safe Mobility Recovery Plan
● City of Omaha Signal Operations Center St. at 42nd and 60th Streets
● City of Omaha Creighton Bikeway
