The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) seeks public comment on an amendment to its FY2025 Transportation Improvement Program, which will increase funding for a streetcar extension study and will program funding for a trail
study.

The public comment period runs April 17, 2025, to April 24, 2025.

The projects include:

Funding increase:

• City of Omaha North 19th Street Streetcar Extension Study

• Iowa Department of Transportation I-29, 0.9 miles South of County Road L19 to South of I-
880 (Southbound)

Project moved to active status & funding programming changed from FY2024 to FY2025:

• City of Omaha Belt Line to Field Club Trail Extension Study
