FY2026 Transportation Improvement Program Amendment Public Comment Period
The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency is amending its FY2026 Transportation Improvement Program to add several Sarpy County street paving and widening projects, adjust funding for a Sarpy County data center project and shift funding for a few Bellevue street resurfacing projects.
The public comment period runs Dec. 4, 2025, to Dec 11, 2025.
The projects include:
Funding increase
– Project Gemini (Meta Data Center and offices): Improvements to Capehart Road, 156th Street, and Fairview Road; total cost increased from $1,150,000 to $45,000,000
Projects added
– Four Sarpy County street paving and widening projects: 192nd Street from NE-370 to I-80, 192nd Street from I-80 to Platteview Road, Capehart Road from 192nd Street to 204th Street, and Capehart Road from 168th Street to 192nd Street
Phase Adjustment
– City of Bellevue, 2025 Major Streets Resurfacing: Project Engineering, Environmental Review, and Final Design phase and Utilities, Construction and Construction Engineering phase shifted from 2025 to 2026
The MAPA Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 11, 2025, at 2222 Cuming St. Omaha, will serve as the public meeting for the amendment.
