Is there an abandoned building, gas station, or other potentially contaminated property (commonly referred to as a ‘brownfield’) that is impacting your community’s image and economic development negatively? Do you have a redevelopment project in mind and need advice on “Where do we go from here?”

Register now for a FREE brownfields workshop to learn about valuable state and federal resources available to assist with the redevelopment of these properties to bring them back to beneficial use!

Communities will have the opportunity to share site information with a panel of experts in an open forum. The panel will provide feedback on how to address site-specific issues and develop a comprehensive strategy for redevelopment tailored to community needs.

This workshop is presented by the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program (TAB) at Kansas State University,  the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE), the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), and Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA).
