Council of Officials Quarterly Meeting
MAPA’s Council of Officials meets for its final quarterly meeting of the year on December 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beardmore Event Center of Bellevue.
The Council will receive an update on MAPA business; MAPA Program Priorities and hear a special presentation on The Military Installation Resilience Review (MIRR) from Colonel Patrick J. Kolesiak , Commander of the 55th Mission Support Group located at Offutt Air Force Base. This initiative will allow for a comprehensive review of natural and man-made threats and vulnerabilities that could impact Offutt Air Force Base (OAFB) and the surrounding communities.
In addition, the Council will hear from the Greater Omaha Chamber leadership on their Competitive Economic Development Strategy For 2025-2027 and Federal Investment Opportunities related to Offutt Air Force Base/STRATCOM and energy transition through coordinated efforts with state and local officials.
