Citizens’ Advisory Council
Citizens’ Advisory Council (CAC)
The February meeting of the MAPA Citizens’ Advisory Council (CAC) will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 11, 2016 at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center on the University of Nebraska-Omaha campus.
The CAC meets as needed but no less than bi-annually. Meetings are typically on Thursdays at 4:30 pm in the MAPA Lobby Conference Room and are comprised of nominated and appointed members of the communities in the MAPA MPO area.
Currently, there are several spots still open for smaller communities, all other spots will become open only during elections or if a member resigns. The CAC provides feedback to MAPA on planning documents and processes.
This meeting and discussion are open to all though only appointed members of the CAC are able to vote on action items.
