The comment period for the draft 2025 CEDS opens November 10th, 2025; please submit written comments by 4:30 p.m. December 10th 2025 to mapa@mapcog.org or via U.S. Mail to MAPA, 2222 Cuming St., Omaha, NE 68102.
The MAPA Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, December 11th will serve as the public meeting for the draft CEDS.
The CEDS serves as a blueprint for economic resiliency for the Omaha-Council Bluffs six-county region and serves as a road map to strengthen and diversify the regional economy through the collaboration of the public and private sectors.
MAPA is responsible for submitting an updated CEDS to the U.S. Economic Development Administration every five years.
