2050 MTP Amendment 1
BackThe 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) helps guide future infrastructure projects in the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area. Updated every five years, the MTP projects the transportation needs for the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area for the next 25 years and includes a list of projects to meet those future transportation needs.
Amendments are made to the MTP as needed. Please review the Amendment Summary document for amendment details.
MAPA released this amendment for a 25 day public comment period on December 11, 2025. No comments were received. MAPA’s Board of Directors approved the amendment on January 22, 2026.
