Pottawattamie County Transportation Plan – Technical Memorandum 1

The Pottawattamie County Transportation Plan will provide a comprehensive glimpse at transportation in the metro area and propose a vision to guide the next 25 years. The plan will evaluate existing conditions, project future growth, and identify needs and deficiencies for roadways, bridges and other transportation infrastructure within the county. These needs will be developed into projects and funding will be analyzed to establish the total amount of anticipated revenue for the County in the next 25 years.

The Pottawattamie County Transportation Plan compliments the Pottawattamie County Comprehensive Plan, which establishes land use policy guidance for county and community leaders. Together, the two plans provide policy guidance and project identification that serves as a foundation for growth and development within the county.
