MAPA seeks public comment on its Draft 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).  The LRTP is a 30-year vision for the future of transportation in the Omaha-Council Bluffs region. The public comment period runs from August 27 to September 28, 2020.

MAPA’s 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan is developed in conjunction with Heartland 2050, ConnectGO and other planning initiatives. Much of the plan builds off the Metro Travel Improvement Study (MTIS), a collaborative effort between the Nebraska Department of Transportation and MAPA. The plan includes more than $10 billion in transportation investment during the next 30 years.
