Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do we need to be registered as a business in the states of Nebraska and Iowa to satisfy the RFP requirement to provide assurances that the consultant is in good standing with the states of Nebraska and Iowa, or will a statement indicating that the consultant is not restricted from doing business in the states of Nebraska and Iowa sufficient?

A statement indicating that the consultant in not restricted from doing business in the states of Nebraska and Iowa will be sufficient.

2. Does the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serve as part of the proposal or should it be separate from the proposal?

We would need for the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to be a separate section of the proposal. There is an understanding that there may be an overlap in information. However, a separate RFQ section would make it easier during the selection process to evaluate previous project experience and proposed work independently of each other.

3. For the RFP requirement, "Provide samples of similar past projects", what format is desired? Can the samples be provided electronically on CD or are you requesting printed copies? Can we assume that one copy is sufficient in the format selected?

A maximum two (2) page summary of relevant past projects would be sufficient. Past examples should be included in your Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) section. Please limit past experience to five (5) relevant projects.
